Graphic saying "in 2020 we collected 560,711 pounds this is enough to provide 467,259 meals"

With food rescue deliveries to the Metrocrest Food Pantry in Texas, the Chicago Food Depository, Mount Sinai and New Jersey foodbanks, Team Westerberg more than doubled our 2020 goal of 250,000 pounds of rescued food, delivered to stretched thin food banks, food pantries, and other community outreach organizations.

Our most recent Move for Hunger contribution, just before Thanksgiving, included the delivery of 300 turkeys and other food to 6 New Jersey food banks.  Steve Jensen, Nelson Westerberg New Jersey and Professional Van Operator, Terry Richardson were instrumental in the success of this giving back project, just before the holidays.

Thank you to all of our corporate partners and transferees who have given so generously.  Thank you to our Professional Van Operators and to our entire MFH Team Westerberg for making a difference, delivering a basic human need, nutritious meals to over 400,000 women, men and children during this pandemic.

In these very difficult times, over 50 million people in America face daily food insecurity.  We could not be more proud to engage with our relocation industry’s key organization Move for Hunger, to “reduce food waste and fight hunger”

There is always something we can do, building bridges to help others.  Team Westerberg stepped up in 2020 and we are proud of the recognition received.  We are now challenged to raise the bar to do more in 2021.
